There is a museum for us. The Mixed Museum is an entire digital institution devoted to the history of racial mixing in Britain, grown from academic research and open to anyone with a browser. Its exhibitions trace mixed families through the 20th century and tell the inside story of how the mixed census category came to exist at all, which makes it both an archive and a case study in getting counted.
